Free GPT-4 with Microsoft Copilot

As you probably know, today only 3.5 version of Chat GPT is publically available for free, so if you want to use GPT-4 you need to pay a subscription. Now you can access it's capabilitites through Microsoft Copilot tool!

Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that helps you with various tasks, such as writing, coding, learning, and more. Depending on the application, Copilot can:

  • Check your spelling and grammar, improve your clarity and readability, and suggest ways to start or finish your documents and presentations.
  • Explain Azure concepts, services, and offerings, and guide you to the right user experience or script to deploy your solutions.
  • Generate code snippets, optimize performance, troubleshoot problems, and author policies using natural language prompts.
  • Answer your questions, provide insights, and help you discover new information using Bing search.
  • Enhance your typing experience, provide suggestions, and help you communicate better using SwiftKey keyboard.

Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered productivity tool that works with various Microsoft 365 Apps and Windows 11. Depending on your needs and preferences, you can access Copilot in different ways. Here are some options:

  • If you have a Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 license, and have 300 or more employees within your organization, you can purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 by contacting your Microsoft account representative or the Microsoft 365 Sales team.
  • If you are a consumer or a small to medium-sized business, you can sign up for early testing of Copilot for Microsoft 365 by filling out this form. The launch date for Copilot for Microsoft 365 for consumers and SMB is to be announced.
  • If you have updated to Windows 11 version 22H2, and are in one of the preview markets, you can access Copilot in Windows by clicking on the Copilot icon in the taskbar.
  • If you use Visual Studio Code, you can install GitHub Copilot, a code suggestion engine powered by Copilot technology, by following these steps or these steps.
  • If you use Microsoft Edge, you can access Copilot by clicking on the Copilot icon in the address bar or by visiting this page.

If you want to use Copilot on your mobile device, you have a few options:

  • You can directly install Copilot application from Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
  • You can use Copilot in Edge on your phone by downloading the Microsoft Edge app.
  • You can use Copilot in Microsoft SwiftKey, a customizable keyboard that adapts to your writing style. Download the SwiftKey app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, or update to the latest version to use Copilot.

Note however that you are only alowed to do some limited number of requests per day for an account, that however must be sufficient for personnal usage and simple applications.
